Trainer: Janet Levine
Levine started her consulting company in 2007 after almost 20 years as an advancement professional in the nonprofit sector. Her "in the trenches"training provides a solid base from which she can help to propel her clients, helping them to increase their fundraising capacity and build stronger boards.
Because she has been there, has had much success—and made every mistaken the book- Janet is able to use her experiences and skills to help her clients navigate their real world challenges. Just prior to opening Janet Levine Consulting, Janet was the Vice President of Advancement at CSU-‐Dominguez Hills. She served as Dean, External Relations for Pasadena City College and was Executive Director of the Foundation at El Camino College. She also held senior development positions at AFI, the University of Oregon, the Reason Foundation, and at USC. In addition to her consulting, Janet regularly teaches workshops on fundraising and board development.
Cancellation policy: We require notice of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the class start time. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or late cancellations. LACAC and First 5 (Region 4) grantees who register without attending will be invoiced directly for the full cost of the course. All registrants are encouraged to send an alternate if unable to attend.
