This workshop is designed to provide participants with a basic framework to produce highly impactful programs that align with their organization's mission and vision. Participants will learn how to apply this framework to increase their organization's impact and consistently achieve their desired outcomes. At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will have the tools to create a comprehensive plan and be better prepared to develop impactful programs.

Who should attend:

Any role new to Program Development or needs a refresher on how to develop impactful programs is encouraged to attend. Recommended for: Program Directors, Program Managers, Program Coordinators, and Grant Writers.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this workshop, participant will be able to:

  • Create a comprehensive plan that will successfully deliver a highly impactful program
  • Prepare for successful program planning
  • Understand the program life cycle and identify where in the cycle, programs reside
  • Create a program framework that aligns outcomes with program activities
  • Use the program logic model to create and test program designs

Trainer: Damon Colaluca (pronounced kō-la - lŭ-ka)

Damon Colaluca is an influential purpose-driven leader with extensive experience developing and implementing strategies that create thriving social impact organizations; coaching individuals, managers, and teams to achieve their full potential; and creating connections and collaborations that result in transformative change.

For over 30 years, Damon has travelled the country, working to expand the capacity of social impact organizations and their ability to create real and lasting change. Throughout his lifetime of leadership, he has seen social impact organizations transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. From leading organizations and boards to spearheading mergers and facility acquisitions to directing mission advancement and fundraising initiatives, his efforts have transformed both organizations and communities.

Damon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Long Beach, completed post graduate coursework in Public Administration at Notre Dame de Namur University and earned an Executive Certificate in Leadership Management from the University of Notre Dame. He is a faculty-level trainer and a recipient of a California Department of Education Golden Apple award.

LACAC and First 5 (Region 4) grantees who register without attending will be invoiced directly for the full cost of the course. Per our contract with LACDAC, we are required to notify LACDAC of any grantees who register and do not attend; Those who miss a session cannot register to attend any future TNP sessions until payment is received.
