Nonprofit leaders are experiencing a rapidly changing and volatile environment that makes the task of keeping your organization afloat increasingly tricky. How does your organization survive and even thrive? How do you stay afloat?
To understand the mechanics of organizational survival, it helps to look at the successes and failures of the past. One of the best known and most illustrative failures of all time?The Titanic. This workshop examines the tragic events surrounding the Titanic. It will help you discover the tools and strategies to manage change and reinvent your organizations to succeed, no matter what disruptions comes your way.

Damon Colaluca is an influential purpose-driven leader with extensive experience developing and implementing strategies that create thriving social impact organizations; coaching individuals, managers, and teams to achieve their full potential; and creating connections and collaborations that result in transformative change.
For over 30 years, Damon has travelled the country, working to expand the capacity of social impact organizations and their ability to create real and lasting change. Throughout his lifetime of leadership, he has seen social impact organizations transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. From leading organizations and boards to spearheading mergers and facility acquisitions to directing mission advancement and fundraising initiatives, his efforts have transformed both organizations and communities.
Damon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Long Beach, completed post graduate coursework in Public Administration at Notre Dame de Namur University and earned an Executive Certificate in Leadership Management from the University of Notre Dame. He is a faculty-level trainer and a recipient of a California Department of Education Golden Apple award.
Cancellation policy: We require notice of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the class start time. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or late cancellations. LACAC and First 5 (Region 4) grantees who register and do not attend will be invoiced directly for the full cost of the course. All registratns are encouraged to send an alternate if they are unable to attend.
