Grant Writing Certificate Program

Three Sessions: Thursdays, April 11, 18, & 25; 9am-3:00pm (In person)
Are you new to grant writing? Want to learn more about the basics of grant writing and how to improve your skills?

Join us for our three-session Grant Writing Certificate Program to expand your knowledge and develop the skills needed to prepare a successful grant proposal. This program series is filled with “how-to” instruction and exercises that will help you through the process. Whether you are new to grant writing, or want to improve your skills, this program series is for you!

Come with a program/proposal idea in mind: Participants of this series will be expected to complete outside coursework each week, as they work on their specific proposals.

All three sessions must be completed to earn your certificate.

Christina Hall is the Program Manager for The Nonprofit Partnership focused on strategic initiaitves and systems change. For over the last decade, Christina has been part of multiple place-based, systems-change initiatives with a focus on advocacy, policy, and shifting systemic inequities. Christina is a key member of the TNP team, providign resources and capacity building support for nonprofits.


Attendance Policy: Attendees must attend all 3 sessions to receive the certificate. Sessions missed for half an hour or more are considered absences. If an attendee misses a class, they can make up the missed session no more than six months later with a $25 administrative fee to receive the certificate.

You will receive weekly emails updates about TNP programs, services, and events. You can opt out at any time. You also give TNP permission to use your image for communications and waive any rights for compensation.

Cancellation policy: We require notice of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the class start time. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or late cancellations. LACDAC and First 5 (Region 4) grantees who register without attending will be invoiced directly for the full cost of the course. All registrants are encouraged to send an alternate if unable to attend.
